Our ABA Learning Center in Bloomington, Minnesota was built with that in mind. It's a bright, playful space where children with autism build real-life skills through one-on-one ABA therapy, play, and time with friends, every weekday.

What's inside our Bloomington center

Every corner of the center is designed to help your child feel comfortable, have fun, and practice skills they'll use at home, at school, and with friends.

  • One-on-one ABA therapy

    Your child works with their own behavior therapist all day, following a plan built just for them and guided by a licensed clinical supervisor.

  • A gross motor gym

    Swings, slides, and soft mats give kids room to move, play, and build strength and coordination, and plenty of chances to practice taking turns.

  • Sensory-friendly spaces

    Calm rooms and specialized sensory equipment help children regulate, reset, and feel comfortable throughout the day.

  • Group time and school readiness

    Small, structured groups help kids practice sharing, following routines, and making friends, so they feel ready for the classroom.

  • Speech, OT, and PT on site

    A partner provider offers speech, occupational, and physical therapy right at the center, so your child's care team works together under one roof.

  • You're part of the team

    Family skills training helps you carry what your child learns at the center into everyday life at home, and you'll always know how they're doing.

What are the center's hours?

Our ABA Learning Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Children attend full-time, which works out to about 40 hours of one-on-one ABA therapy each week.

Is center-based therapy full-time?

Yes. Center-based therapy at MBS is a full-time program. If a full-time schedule isn't the right fit for your family, our in-home ABA program offers part-time options, and we'll help you figure out what works best for your child.

Does my child get speech or occupational therapy at the center?

A partner provider offers speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy on site at our Bloomington center. That means your child's providers can work together, and you save extra trips to other clinics.

Where is the ABA Learning Center?

Our center is at 4220 West Old Shakopee Road, Suite 100, in Bloomington, Minnesota, with easy access from I-35W and I-494. It's a short drive for families across Hennepin, Dakota, and Scott counties.
