The Senior Therapist (ST) plays a critical role in Minnesota Behavioral Specialists’ (MBS) model of servicing clients who receive ABA therapy. The ST provides extensive training and support to the Behavior Therapists they supervise and oversee as well as working closely with the Clinical Supervisor and Program Manager. Following the initial assessments with the client, the ST is responsible for working directly with the clinical team and the family to develop an Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) that best suits the needs of the clients they oversee. They will develop programming and train staff on the implementation of these programs and will continue to modify them to progress across all teaching areas. The ITP is an individualized document that focuses on building successes in areas of learning that are currently a challenge for our clients and serves as a guide for the treatment team.
